Few combinations in life are as succulent as strawberries and chocolate. You just can’t improve upon them…. so embrace them!
- Oreos (family size bag)
- Butter (1 1/2 sticks)
- Cream Cheese (4 oz)
- Whipping Cream (1 pint)
- Bakers Semi Sweet Chocolate
- 3/4 c. powdered sugar, 1/4 c. granulated sugar; dash salt; tsp vanilla
De-stuff the oreos. You just have to… but no one’s judging on what you DO with those insides…
Place all cookies into blender or food processor, and turn ’em into crumbs
Now, the goodness comes in. Butter. I love butter. Melt one stick of butter.
Blend together melted butter and cookie crumbs…
…and then you’ll have your crust!
Press crust into 9″ pie pan.
In a separate bowl, add vanilla, granulated sugar, powdered sugar, and a dash of salt. Mix together with 4 oz cream cheese.
Mix until consistency is very smooth.
Add 1/2 a pint of whipping cream.
Beat until stiff.
Texture should be formed after at least 60 seconds of beating.
Spread over pie crust.
Place 1/2 stick of butter and 6 squares of bakers chocolate into small pan, and heat, stirring until smooth and melted.
While heating heating the chocolate ganache, clean, decapitate and half the strawberries.
